Weddings, Wedding Blessings, and Renewal of Vows at St Marys Wexham

Weddings at St Marys Wexham. We host a number of weddings at St Marys.

The church is a delightful little gem (come and see it) but it is a "little" gem. If you want more than about 80 guests, you might find it a bit crowded! We have an organ and can arrange for an organist to play at your celebration, or we can play recorded music through the church's sound system (not state of the art, but perfectly adequate!)

The churchyard is lovely and well cared for and many couples have had their wedding pictures taken in the grounds.

Toilets are available in the church hall (which is about 50 yards from the church) and we have off-street parking in the grounds of the church hall.

As a wedding is a legal as well as a religious event, there are a number of legal requirements that need to be met (some reflected in this map of the journey to getting married at St Marys) and this form we will ask you to complete

You might also want to look at the weddings pages of the Church of England website

Some couples marry in a civil ceremony and then come to the church for a wedding blessing, which is a lovely way of inviting God into your new life together.

And some who have been married for a time want to celebrate their life and love together afresh, by arranging a renewal of their marriage vows in a Thanksgiving for Marriage.

For all of these, please get in touch, visit, and let's chat.

We can also put you in touch people (such as photographers, drivers, for example) who other couples have used.
